Benthic organisms
I explored the fascinating life on the sea floor. My work focused on understanding the effects of human activities on these important ecosystems.
Marine Geology
I worked with sediment cores, collected samples, and analysed Multibeam data to study the structure and history of the seafloor.
Voluntary work
During my voluntary work, I guided snorkeling tours, collected plankton samples, and worked with microscopes to study marine life. I also gave presentations on important environmental topics.
Scientific consultant
For "Lichtemotionist" I researched topics in nature, forest, and environmental photography, co-wrote articles, and managed the online store by adding new products like images and eBooks.
Field Work
Through field work, I experienced marine science outside the lab. I collected samples, took part in research cruises, and worked closely with nature, gaining valuable hands-on experience in different marine environments.
AWI Summer School 2024
In 2024, I joined the AWI Summer School on Helgoland, where I learned about the ecological impacts of offshore wind farms and explored the connection between marine conservation and renewable energy.
